Keywords. Are they Important?

Today we'll talk about the importance of keywords in your articles. Keywords play an important part in optimizing your articles and make them ready to be found by search engine spiders. Keyword density and placement are key factors to allowing search engine's to detect and recognize your content when someone searches for a particular keyword.

What exactly is a keyword. A keyword is a specific word or set of words placed in your article to determine if that page or content is useful to the searcher.

You may have heard of the term keyword density and wonder exactly what it meant. Keyword density is how many times a specific of keywords is placed throughout the article. For instance if you have a 500 word article and want to least get a 5% keyword density then you will need to have your keyword in the article approximately 25 times. There are numerous resources on the Internet that will guide you through the process of selecting keywords or combination of keywords to make your site article search engine friendly. Sometimes this takes strong mayor to get the best match for your niche. As long as you don't over optimize and are making a significant profit from your keyword density rankings then you are on the right track.

No matter what density you use it is important to place keywords so that there are more the beginning and end to produce an hour glass effect having right keyword density in your article makes it likely that you will make money off the article because the search engine ranking for that article a result in a higher rate and have a better possibility of being found.

You can easily find these tools by searching in your browser. There are numerous keyword tools available, but I recommend started off with the free tool to get an idea of how to search and rank your niche keywords.
